Web maintenance

Your website, secure.
Every single month.

We handle updates, backups, security, and content changes so your website or online store runs smoothly, loads fast, and stays protected against attacks.

Why your website
needs maintenance.

A website is never truly finished; it's a program running on a server that constantly changes. PHP versions get updated, plugins receive security patches, SSL certificates expire, and external services (payments, shipping, invoicing) change their rules.

Problems usually happen quietly: the contact form hasn't been sending emails for two weeks, a payment fails at checkout, or an old plugin allows someone to inject spam links. Maintenance means catching these issues before they cost you clients, not after.

What monthly
maintenance includes.

Controlled updates

We update the platform, theme, and plugins after taking a backup, then verify that pages, forms, and orders work properly. Major updates are first tested on a separate staging copy of the site.

Backups

Automated file and database backups, stored securely off-site. We regularly test restorations, because a backup you can't restore is useless.

Security

We monitor access attempts, scan files for suspicious code, keep only necessary admin accounts, and check the SSL certificate.

Monitoring

We track uptime, page load speeds, and new errors. We test contact forms and, for stores, the entire checkout flow.

Content changes

Texts, images, products, prices, simple new pages, or campaign banners: we handle them within your package hours.

Monthly report

A summary of what we updated, what issues we found and fixed, how your site speed evolved, and our recommendations for the next period.

For websites
and online stores.

A presentation website mainly needs updates, backups, and functional contact forms. An online store has more moving parts: the payment gateway, courier integrations, automated invoicing, inventory, and customer emails. For e-commerce sites, we regularly check the entire customer journey, from cart to invoice.

We take over websites built by us as well as those built by other teams. In the latter case, we start with a technical audit to understand what we're working with.

What is not included
in maintenance.

Maintenance keeps your website in good health, but it doesn't replace development. New features, design changes, new integrations, or server migrations are discussed and quoted separately so you know upfront what you're paying for.

If your website has structural or outdated platform issues, we will honestly let you know when repairs are no longer worth it and when you should consider redesigning your website.

How we get started.

  1. Initial audit. We analyze the website's status, versions used, backups, and risks.

  2. Plan and agreement. We agree on what the maintenance covers, how many modification hours are included, and communication channels.

  3. Setup. We configure automated backups and uptime monitoring.

  4. Month by month. Updates, checks, modifications, and the monthly report.

Frequently
asked questions.

Why do I need maintenance if my website is working fine right now?

Because issues usually arise without warning: a server update, an outdated plugin with a security vulnerability, or a form that stops sending emails. Maintenance prevents these issues or catches them quickly, which costs a lot less than fixing a hacked site or losing leads.

Do you take over websites built by other agencies?

Yes. We start with a technical audit to review the versions used, backup status, and potential issues. Then, we propose the right maintenance plan for your needs.

What access do I need to provide?

Usually, administrator access to the website and hosting access (control panel or FTP). We will guide you through exactly what we need and how to share access securely without sending passwords via email.

What happens if the website gets hacked or goes down?

We step in using your backups: we restore a clean version, find and close the entry point, and update access credentials. Afterward, we let you know what happened and what steps we took to prevent it from happening again.

Is web hosting included?

No. We work with your current hosting provider. If it's not suitable (outdated PHP versions, lack of backups, poor speed), we will recommend better options and can handle the migration as a separate task.

Can I request content changes at any time?

Yes, within the limit of the hours included in your package. You send us what needs to be changed, and we confirm when it's done. Tasks exceeding your monthly hours are estimated before we start.
